The HAIX Perfectfit Safety Wide insole (distinguished by its yellow bottom layer) is an integral component of the HAIX Vario Wide Fit System. HAIX constructs its boots on standard mediums, but recognizes that foot volume varies. To accommodate this, they developed three interchangeable insoles of different thicknesses: Blue (Narrow), Red (Medium), and Yellow (Wide).

The Wide insole is the thinnest of the three (approximately 4 mm thick). By replacing the standard red factory insole with this yellow Wide version, you effectively lower the foot’s seating position inside the boot. This instantly releases more volume and width across the midfoot and toe box, making standard HAIX boots fit comfortably for those with wider feet or lower arches without creating painful pressure points.
