Level 2 Pistol Holsters

Level II Holsters provide an increased level of firearm retention, combining secure carry with fast and controlled access. They are a popular choice for duty and tactical applications where protection against unauthorized access or attempted firearm takeaways is an important requirement.

At PANOPLON, you will find Level II Duty Holsters from manufacturers such as Alien Gear and Safariland, utilizing different active retention technologies. Safariland Level II models include its SLS™ Self-Locking System with a rotating hood, while the Alien Gear Rapid Force Level II utilizes an active thumb-release mechanism designed for intuitive engagement during the draw.

Depending on the holster and firearm configuration, options are available for red dot optics, suppressor-height sights and weapon-mounted lights. Different mounting systems also allow users to configure ride height and integrate the holster with Duty Belts and other equipment platforms. The Alien Gear Rapid Force Level II, for example, supports the modular Quick Disconnect System (QDS) and multiple belt, drop-leg and MOLLE mounting configurations.

At PANOPLON, we select and use holsters as end users ourselves, giving us first-hand knowledge of the importance of proper retention, ergonomics, firearm compatibility and correct holster positioning.
