Unlike the newer multi-fuel HL-X series, the legacy TLR-1 HL is engineered strictly to run on disposable lithium cells. It does NOT support Streamlight rechargeable battery packs.

When using two standard CR123A Lithium Batteries:

• Body and Face Cap Material: 6000-series machined aircraft aluminum with an anodized finish (Available in Black, Flat Dark Earth, and FDE Brown)

• Lens: High-temperature, shock-mounted, impact-resistant Borofloat glass with a white gasket seal

• Optics: Custom Total Internal Reflection (TIR) optic designed to throw a large center hot-spot while flooding a wide area with peripheral light

• Light Source: High-power C4 LED tech, completely shock-impervious with a 50,000-hour functional lifespan

• Switches: Traditional mechanical, ambidextrous rear rocker/paddle switch system

• Switch Functionality: Pushing down on the right side locks constant-on. Pushing up on the right side provides momentary activation.

• Rail Compatibility: Built-in rail clamp grip system attaches securely to full-size and compact handguns as well as long-gun accessory rails

• Rail Key Kit: Includes 5 custom polymer rail-locating keys to clear specific weapon frames: Glock/Universal, Picatinny (MIL-STD-1913), Beretta 90two, S&W 99, S&W TSW, and SIG Sauer P320

• Muzzle Safety: Uses a spring-loaded side-thumb screw setup. Allows you to snap the light onto the rail from the side and tighten it down without crossing your hands in front of the live muzzle

• Holster Fit: As the standard duty light choice across global law enforcement for over a decade, this chassis fits the vast majority of universal and legacy light-bearing holsters on the market (Safariland, Blackhawk, Tier 1, etc.)

BATTERY AND POWER SPECIFICATIONS

• Power Cell Requirement: Requires two (2) 3-Volt CR123A lithium batteries (10-year storage shelf life)

• Battery Loading Access: Traditional rear-loading configuration. To change the batteries, you must unlatch the swinging rear polymer door hinge (Note: The light housing must be completely unmounted from the firearm rail to open the battery door)

• Tethered Door Latch: The rear latch mechanism is permanently pinned to the light body so you cannot accidentally drop or lose the battery door during field replacements

• Strobe Mode: Built-in strobe feature that initiates via a quick “double-tap” of the momentary paddle switch within 0.4 seconds. The strobe can be completely turned off or on through an internal paddle programming sequence
